A shoe story

Once upon a time there were a pair of shoes.
They had just been unpacked and put up on a shelf among it's family and other kinds of shoes. What they all had in common was the high heels and that they all had ended up on a shoe shelf in a Miss Selfridge store in Glasgow.

Gorgeous they were, in red velvet and with glittering bows on it's toes.

It didn't take long until a blond girl with weird accent noticed these sparkly wonders...

It was love at first sight!

I just had to buy these burlesque inspired shoes, they were so me.

However, they didn't have them in size 37 but only 36 and I wasn't sure about the size...
So they ordered for me a pair of 37, aswell as a pair of 36, (incase I actually wanted size 36 and all the other pairs in the same size would be sold out.)

I came back on Saturday as they told me to do so, but for some reason they hadn't got them in yet.
I had to wait to days more! I really wanted to buy them now, now, now.

Next time they had both pairs waiting for me. :)

I tried to walk around so I would feel what size was the better one.
Atlast I decided to buy the pair in 36. (All this effort for nothing! I could have bought them the first day, well atleast I now knew that 36 was best for me. )

Atleast I thought so...

When I got home and tried on my new lovely shoes they didn't fit anymore!
The shoes had shrinked a size or maybe my feet had grown a size!
The latter might have been the most likely one, but regardless of what had happend I couldn't wear them, the difference was huge.

And I knew I couldn't go back until two days later.
I knew that the only pair of 37 was the one I have ordered, so I could just pray to any shoe God out there to save them from being bought by anyone else, or maybe save me from ending up without my new love.

Two days later I was, back...

Hallelujah! They were still there.

And I bought them ofcourse. What did you expect?? After all this trouble.

I even got a 10% discount because I pointed out a small mistake on one of the bows. (plus that I already had a 20% student discount)

And then we lived happily ever after...
