What is it about musicians and crossed legs?

First I thought it was just my boyfriend but after I met his band I discovered otherwise.
And last week on Swedish Idol, I saw Linneas boyfriend, a musician, with his legs crossed.
It's a mystery...

Anyone who have noticed this before?
